Hi everyone!
I just want to advertise here as i wanna sell my aligator fish. I have 5 aligator fishes and i wanna sell the biggest one because i hev no more space for them (the aquarium)
Anyone interested here? FYI, it is a fish with a mouth like an aligator. It has a skin like tiger ( i think ) U might wanna see it. It's easy to take care of them. Just feed them with small fishes then they will grow up so fast!
Please send me email to [email protected]

Cheers,
william

If it is the one I think, it is an interesting fish.

To the OP: would you happen to know is latin name (Platycephalidae family?)? The problem with common names such as "crocodile fish" is that depending on the areas they live, many different fishes may bear the same common name even if they are of very different species.
What type of behaviour your fishes display? Are they bottom dwellers or do they like open waters?
Is your fish pretty much like a scorpionfish but with a more elongated, flattened body with a large ornamented head?
Do you have any pic?Platycephalidae

This one is not the one I refer. Yours looks like a kind of crocodile needlefish though the tail is a bit different and the body looks more "fat" than the common needlefish.
The one I am talking about is an incredible one. He loves to bury himself in sand and you will mainly find him in protected shallow sandy area. He is hunting at night. There are many similar species and they are refered at with the name "flathead" or "crocodile fish". Their pattern mimic the area they live in and they have a criptic coloration. Very hard to spot when you dive but wonderful if you bumped on one. You can spend time just next to them without even spotting them.
