I saw him before on TV News, he's kinda man that want to be success using youtube, just like happened with justin bieber and in Indonesia now is Shinta and Jojo ( Miss Lip sync ) ... he want famous in Indonesia

Looking for fame in all the wrong places... He needs to try this in his own country first and then see how far it gets him.
Maybe he should try out for the next "Indonesia Mencari Bakat"? But I suggest he loose the French accent when speaking and trying to sing in Indonesian...

Again, not very amusing IMHO... The only thing I think that is funny about him is his golden suit makes him look like a french fry from McDonalds.. Even Ronald McDonald the clown has more talent then he does, and more money too I am sure.
I think he needs to stick to his day job of selling/trading costume jewelery as stated in the news....

Judging by the quality or lack there of in the comedic arena on tv here many Indonesians are easily amused. If they weren't that kind of low denomination comedy wouldn't be allowed to exist. Btw why shouldn't a bule take advantage of it for dollar gains if he is willing to look like a fool like Indonesian comics do? He probably wouldn't make it in his own country pulling that crap. Why is it a prerequisite for him to do it back home before coming here? Markets all over the world are exploited by foreigners.
Yes, your right. Just recalled where I woke up this morning. Exploiting is the word. The Chinese are doing the same, they are hiring expats on contractual basis to stand at business parties or important meetings so it makes the company look, well "internationally" capable of hiring an expat and adds to their credibility...so they think at least.
I dont know about Indonesian business people hiring for that purpose but on more than one occasion I was invited to like gatherings and that was the sole purpose I figured by the end of it. Due to that I am very discerning when it comes to invitations to them and weddings where I barely know the people getting married.
Yeah, those type suck when you don't know anyone and the guy who invites just wants to show his friends that he associates with an expat... Especially weddings. The bride is wondering if your friends with the groom, and the groom is wondering if you are the expat who had bang his bride at one time :)
I think it's funny in a lighthearted way. Looks like the entire thing is the brain child of Carolina Renou, François-Xavier Renou's wife. I don't know whether or not Carolina is local. In any case it is good (and free) publicity for him and eventually his business. Pretty smart actually.
