With news like this, it seems that it is no longer necessary to fly to Singapore or Overseas to get good service.

Are you familiar with Frost & Sullivan? It looks to me like they sell consulting services, so it is in their corporate interest to establish and bestow these awards, then hope that people will be impressed enough to hire them as consultants.
I could be wrong, though. Still, I'd be a heck of a lot more impressed if the award came from an NGO with no potential financial interest, rather than a company that is trying to sell things.
Anyone know more about this than I do? I'm just giving an off-the-cuff reaction, not speaking from real knowledge.
Siloam famous for its medical excellence and clinical. The main hospital is the first international hospital and the only one in Indonesia and also one in twenty hospitals in Southeast Asia which are accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) of the United States. Ministry of Health of Indonesia has announced that only hospitals that are accredited by the JCI is allowed to use the name 'International Hospital. " JCI accreditation is a world recognition for the quality and standards of international health services in the industry.
This award is only given to true International Hospitals.

The Joint Commission has a long credible history of accrediting health care facilities in the USA. Its spawn, the Joint Commission International, is relatively new and maybe trading on the reputation of parent. Accreditation by the JCI certainly is an indication that a facility meets Western, US derived, standards, but it should not be the end of a patient's skepticism concerning the quality of an Indonesian facility. I am reminded of other US rating-for-a-fee companies such as Standard and Poor's ratings of the quality of mortgaged backed securities. S & P had a long credible history as well, but millions who depended on their ratings lost their life savings.

There is one about 10 minutes up the road from where we live, Lippo Karawaci. I think they have 4 hospitals but I'm not exactly sure of their location. Maybe google them.
