looking for a foreigner paediatric

HELLO EVERYBODY

I am looking for a foreigner paediatric...I brought few times my daughter to local paediatric in the most important hospital in Jakarta, but most of them , makes me disappointed and so nervous for the way they visit and the easy way the prescribe medicine without even be sure of the origin of the disease. Is very well known that most of Indonesian are money hungry, but at least Doctors they should be less..:help:
I live in Menteng area , if anyone know a good paediatric I will be very grateful.

I did some research into foreign doctors in Indonesia a while back and found that it's actually illegal for non-Indo citizens to practice medicine in Indonesia. That being the case, there aren't actual foreign doctors in Jakarta. What there are, however, are 'consulting physicians'. Clinics that cater to foreigners, like SOS, have expatriate doctors working there. They aren't the actual 'doctor' doctor, however-- you still meet with a local (but often Western-educated) doctor at your appointment. The expatriate doctors are there to review the cases, answer questions, and offer their opinion. I think (and I might be mistaken on this) that only paid members of the SOS International program are allowed to access the consulting physician. You should call them to check it out and see what they say.

You could also try Global Assistance in Cilandak. I have found them to be better than ISOS, and better value too.
